Wanna Make a Template?

Have you ever tried to make a template? It gets to be a complete pain when you're there doing the png layers. Well, it's not so bad I guess if you don't have a lot of layers, but when you get into the double digits of layers, that' s where I start to lose it. Happy made this great action to make templates. It automatically takes your layered psd document and automatically makes separate png files for each layer. Then you just rename, package and go!

it's available here...

Happy challenged us to try it out and give a template away that we created using her action. I made this layout (using various things from Happy), and then turned it into a template, and it was easy peasy...

You can download the template here. Enjoy!

New Layout

So I decided I needed to do more than just do CT obligations, so I made this lo. I think I like it, but I'm not entirely convinced yet. It seems missing something, but I really don't have the patience to sit and test a bunch of stuff out.

Hop Aboard the Blog Train...

So the DRS folks put together a blog train where you can get a beautiful coordinating 8x10 (landscape) brag book. You might have come here from Bree's blog. (If not, go to Digiridoo Scraps to start at the beginning). Here is my page:

Your next stop is over at Sarah's. Enjoy the ride.

Festivities at Digiridoo Scraps:

I'm going to double check the US time for the SS. Since we just had Daylight Savings Time, it might be off by an hour.

Sarah Bennett

Sarah just keeps coming out with terrific things. Now this first layout came from a bright kit. It has gorgeous salmon, teal and yellow colors. But when I was making this lo, I decided to keep it mellow, and I adore how it came out. This is from the kit Sister Sue:

And, it's NSD this weekend. Did you know?? Anyway, Sarah is going to be having a grab bag, and you don't want to miss it. It has wonderful products in it. Literally a boatload...this is what I made with her grab bag goodies:

Dark Side of Autumn....

Digiridoo has a mega team collaboration kit up for sale now, The Dark Side of Autumn . For only $4.50 you can get all of this:

or if you'd rather get it for free, just purchase something else in the store and you get this for free. It's a win, win, win. Everybody wins. You win, I win, the store wins, the designers win, so I guess it's really a win, win, win, win. This is what I did with the kit.

Back to posting...

I love this page! It came out so much better than I had hoped. It uses the kit Butterfly Whisper by Ldrag Designs. She is at Digiridoo. Digiridoo is having some technical difficulties at the moment, but when they're back up, I'm totally going to link you up. This is also going to be a challenge at that site, so I'll be sure to post about that when the site is back up too.

This layout uses all goodies by Happy Scrap girl. Aren't those new alphas fabulous?!
